WATER
The Bird's Nest Fern prefers consistently moist soil but does not tolerate waterlogging. Water it when the top 5cm of soil feels dry. Ensure even watering around the plant, avoiding the centre (the "nest") to prevent crown rot

LIGHT
Your Bird's Nest Fern will enjoy indirect low to medium light. It thrives in filtered light, mimicking it's growth on the forest floor. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its leaves.

FERTILISING
Feed your Bird's Nest Fern once a month during the Spring and Summer months.

SOIL
Add horticultural sand to a standard potting mix to add extra drainage fore the delicate roots.

TEMPERATURE
Standard household temperatures are fine for this fern, however it is sensitive to cold drafts and should be kept away from windows or doors that may expose it to chilly air.

HUMIDITY
Your Bird's Nest Fern will love increased humidity. Acheive this by placing in a naturally humid room like a bathroom, group plants together, use a humidifier, or place on a pebble tray.

TOXICITY
Considered non toxic to pets and humans.
